Hi

As a startup with a significant geographic footprint, I was very interested in the concept of Mindjet and Cohuman and the development of an ecosystem for defining project plans in Mindjet and transferring (hopefully in the future in an automated fashion!) to Cohuman, ensuring task dependencies, timescales and resources are identified. As we have several very large projects across disparate geographic locations, collaboration is very important for us to ensure that all parties, internal and external, buy into the planning, something which mind mapping allows us to do.

Having looked at a number of MM products offering collaboration, it was the downstream part of the ecosystem that was missing until I came upon Cohuman.

However, I have a significant problem that I haven't been able to resolve. Everytime I log into Mindjet Connect (on a Mac running Lion and latest Safari builds) a popup box appears with a message that "The website "connect.mindjet.com" requires a client certificate". This then irritatingly pops up after being cancelled when any action is applied, which quite frankly makes working on any task difficult to impossible. I have tried to find out what the problem is but to no avail (although I assume this is some sort of SSL problem) and as yet have had no reply from customer support. Additionally, I cannot find a way of deleting my account completely so that I can reset up a new account, just in case there was a corruption in the sign up process.

At the moment, I am extremely reluctant to commit my business resources to upgrading to MJ Business if the free version is not capable.

Any ideas would be much appreciated either from the community or Mindjet.

thanks

pete

Re: Mindjet Connect Login
I posted my query Saturday, and also posted a fault with Support. Whilst I appreciate MJ_Brittney's response, it is now Friday and no one has bothered to contact me with regards this issue.

Whilst I accept the level of service for MJ Connect is probably lower, due to it being free, I am using this free app to evaluate the product for the paid version. I'm afraid, support is key to this and thus far MJ is not very impressive.

If someone cares to contact me and discuss the issue I would appreciate it.

Not impressed!

I just checked your case and I believe that one of our representatives sent you an email addressing the issue not too long ago. Please let me know if you have any additional questions and I would be happy to get those addressed as well. Take care.

Hi Brittney

Yes, Thilo contacted me a little while after I had posted my last message. I have responded to him as his remedy doesn't work; As it stands I have now downloaded the latest build of Firefox and have no issues, which suggests that the latest build of Safari has an issue with SSL in relation to MJ site. For the time being I can use FF to evaluate the product.

I appreciate your assistance.

thanks

Re: Mindjet Connect Login
This seems like it is probably related to a user name or password error. Visit the connect.mindjet.com page and use the "Forgot Password" link in order to reset your password.

I am having the same problem - I am unable to reset the password using the "Reset Password" page you supply.

The button "Reset Password" on this page stays greyed out even after I type a valid email address into the "Email" box. I have tried using both the Chrome and Firefox browsers - same problem.

I am now unable to access Connect at all! Please would you fix this soon.

If you have created your account ID from an invitation someone sent you to access Mindjet Connect, you can no longer use the invitation link. Go to connect.mindjet.com and log in from there.

Hi, has anyone solved the Certificate issue for latest version of MAC Lion and Safari?

I have just tried to access Connect and receive the error "The website "connect.mindjet.com" requires a client certificate".

The detailed fix is not included in this topic. I note that someone has used Firefox. Is this the only answer?
