Mindjet for ipad - not saving maps.

My mindjet for ipad is driving me crasy. The problem is that i'm saving to dropbox, but the save does not always go through, and when I come back to my beloved mindmap, I frequently find the map to be missing the changes
I made last time around. This does not happen if I send the map to an email adress before closing. What can I do? I really love mindjet because it makes it possible for me to put down ideas, that I would otherwise forget, and structure them.

I have exactly the same issue with mindjet for iPad using the autosave function and saving to the device , the last series of changes didn't save but no warning . Have just had to retract my recommendation for my organization to use as this is unacceptable

Upon coming back to an open map, check to see if there are unsaved changes in the queue.

This will be indicated by a number in a circle in the top tool bar next to the curled arrow.

Updates made to a map can be saved in one of 2 ways.
1. By closing the map.
2. By manually pressing “curled arrow” icon on the top tool bar BEFORE switching to another app.

We will continue to explore this issue and I will let you know if there is a better way to queue up the changes.

I hope that this helps. Thank you for your patience.

I have the same issue:
- opening map within dropbox in ipad, OK
- editing map in mindjet app, OK
- syncing map automatically or manually, not working

Instead app creates a new copy locally on ipad, this is really frustrating, now I need to use PC or Android to edit maps, ipad is just for viewing.

I try to have basic formatting, no icons, relationships etc. to be able to work on maps on 3 platforms, but ipad app is useless for networked workflow!

Something interesting about this. It is saving it, it's just hiding the changes! If you copy the Main Topic and paste it into another map all of your data will be there...

Very disappointed in the way mindjet make business. 7 Months waiting for a solution and the application keep crushing when in use after a few minutes, for no reason...so time to take some action, a few bad reviews in forums and in iTunes...enough time waiting for nothing.

Hi, sorry to hear that the app continues to give you problems. The difficulty from our side is that while we do hear certain reports about issues of this nature, the features in question are generally working, and certainly working within our test and development environments. In your case, since you actually experience a crash, if you could send along a crash log, that would help us diagnose the problem. Thanks.
