The previous version of Mindjet for Ipad/iphone can sync with dropbox via a simple "cloud" button.. Did the current version remove the sync button? I can't do sync files with dropbox but just to copy files upto the dropbox folder.

Mindjet for iPad and iPhone v 2.5 now has auto sync with Dropbox maps.

When you open and update a map stored in Dropbox, all updates will be automatically synced to Dropbox when the map is closed (if connected to the internet).

In the upper left section of the drop down toolbar, you will see a number in a circle when map changes have been made. The number will increase to reflect each map with unsynced updates. You can tap the curled arrow icon next to this number to manually sync with Dropbox.

If you are not connected to the internet and close a map, the updates will be automatically saved locally on the device. If one or multiple maps have been updated while offline, once reconnected, all map updates will sync with Dropbox when a map is closed or a manually sync is performed.

I hope this helps!

I cannot see any of my mmap files in the Dropbox menu of Files. Only a file I save there a long time ago. I checked my Dropbox account and the login is correct.

Hi Chuck. Are you saving these maps to the Mindjet for Dropbox folder in the Mindjet application? If you could give me a little more detail as to the process you are taking to save those maps to Dropbox, it would be very helpful. Thank you!

Experienced something similar, was working on a mind map for a while. The number in the circle appeared and disappeared several times so it made me assume that things are being synced with the 'mind maps' folder in Dropbox. When I was done editing there was no number in the circle and just to be sure I hit the circle and then closed the map by hitting X. All this time I was connected to the Internet through a stable wifi connection. When opening the map 20 mins later (never closed the app entirely - just pressed the home button and worked in keynote) the mind map I had worked with was lost to some degree as only an early version of it was saved. What went wrong?

I have been having exactly the same problem for more several months, the answer from mindjet, "sorry we cannot reproduce the mistake" so I've been left with nothing,I cannot use the app as it doesn't sync, I am tired of trying every two weeks to see if they have fix it, but nothing. Like Tobias the sync button simply doesn't work.
