Hello Mindjet team,

The Mindjet app for ipad is great, but i have a problem using my dropbox account.

i'm trying to add the account in the ipad app via cloud -> Dropbox. Whe i tap on the dropbox icon a window appears where i can enter user and password for my dropbox account. After tapping on "sign on" there is the progress wheel for some seconds and then the ipad app crashes.

I've received an email from dropbox saying "You added a new app to Dropbox" (MyMind) - so there obiously was an interaction between the app and dropbox.

As mentioned in other topics, I've manually created a folder called "Mindjet" in the root of my dropbox account.

I'm using the actual version of both dropbox and mindjet app (both in german).

Have you got any idea?

Thanks a lot,

Stefan

same here, after updating to v2.7.2, I cannot access Dropbox anymore. It keeps saying "cannot connect to (dropbox) server".

How do I revert to older version of Mindjet for iPad?

Stefan, the app itself creates a 'Mindjet' folder at the root--indeed, that is the only folder in Dropbox which it will recognize. Did you replace the existing one with the one you created?

If you have an issue connecting to Dropbox, I'd first try force quitting the Mindjet app, then logging back in. We haven't been able to reproduce this issue w/Dropbox in house as of yet.

I am using iPad 5.1.0

Could it be that v2.7.2 is written with iPad v5.1.1 in mind?

Pls let me know. Tks.

Hi Bill, it definitely isn't the case that 5.1.0 would be excluded from our supported list. Were you able to force quit and see if that resolved the issue?

Hi Andy,

I could not get it to work even after I force quit, so I had to "Reset" the iPad to factory default and restore from my iCloud, which is the older version of Mindjet 2.6 I think. It works but I do miss the functions on v2.7.1.

Can you send me the v2.7.1 update? Since that worked well for me, I'd like to stick to it and not deal with v.2.7.2. Tks

Bill
