I have created a new project.

Its visible and has a map when viewed via Mindjet Files in my browser.

Its invisible in Mindjet Files on my desktop in Mindjet 11.

From Mindjet Files I can open in Mindjet desktop app successfully.

Why can't I see this Project and map via Mindjet Files on my desktop?

Note: The Project "folder" is visible on the iPad and the iPhone.

Hi Andrew,

This is currently "as designed" behavior. We had to limit access to Project assets within the Desktop products in order to maintain the extended meta data that this feature employs. We intend to restore full access to Project assets in an upcoming version of MindManager.

There's another topic about this with the same question (from a different user) and the same answer: https://community.mindjet.com/mindjet...

Terry, will the ability to access Project assets in an upcoming version of MIndmanager a) be implemented in THE next update cycle (imminent) and b) will the capability be extended to the Mac desktop product? Projects are a potentially useful organizational tool that I've started using with my lab, but the contents of the Project folders need to be available in the more powerful desktop apps or their usefulness is crippled.

What can you tell us about the timeline? Appreciate the help.

Hi BJ,

The functionality will return to MindManager Windows in 14.1. I do not have a date that I can share with you, but it should be in Q4 2013 or Q1 2014

I do not have an update on MindManager Mac, but the functionality will be returning to the Mac app as well.

If you have resources that are located in a project, you can access these files using their URL's. I have setup several projects where you essentially utilize a Map to include hyperlinks to all of the maps that are stored in the Project. You can obtain the urls using the Mindjet Web client. Additionally, you can access Tasks from this map as well and send tasks out pointing to the specific project when you send to Mindjet Tasks.

Is there an update on this as the last comment was 3 months ago. It makes no sense at all that I can see project maps on the web, on iPad/iPhone but STILL not within Mindjet Files in Mac or PC!!!

This is a major loss of functionality with extra effort to manage files.

My understanding is that after a file has been added (e.g. from Dropbox) that it is not kept in sync at the moment. An alternative solution here would be a live sync of files added from e.g. Dropbox so that one could open the file (instead of Mindjet Files) and still be sure that these are up-to-date... any comments?
