I need to export my maps for others to view in pdf or swf. Some of my notes are available, but not all. For some, I get this message. On a lrage map, it is frustrating to check each note. And when I do find a problem, I don't know how to fix it.

Hi Neil
I think this blog of mine is still valid and may answer your question:
Sharing your maps with non-MIndManager users.
Perhaps Mindjet have an upto date list of objects that are supported in the Flash export.

HMM, well that's very unsettling and is making me rethink my decision to buy (I have 3 days left on my trial). I also found that some topics at the same level grow in different directions when exported as swf or pdf with viewer.

Try some of the web exports. They can be easily sent to Dropbox or a web server or emailed in a zip file and shared with your clients privately. The Static and Dynamic Outlines will display notes and a map that clicks through to the note pages. These exports can be customised.

Thanks Andrew, you've been very helpful. My employer won't let me use dropbox so I suppose the solution is a zip file shared privately. Ideally the export will look just like my mmap without a lot of work by me to customize. Is that easy to achieve?

If you want it to like and operate exactly like the map on your desktop, they need the application. The can install it and let it switch to a view, filter and print only app after 30 days. Everything else is a compromise.
I am happy to accept commissions to make the web export a better compromise for you.
I will look for an example export which has the map in the foreground.

This web site is produced from the map you see on the home page. You can click the map to navigate the site.
All the pages are topic notes. Some topic notes contain images of other maps.

The CSS for the menu bar needs a little adjustment!

Neil,
Is it possible to send over a copy of your map so our dev team can take a look at the export results to see what is happening? (michael dot deutch at mindjet dot com).
thanks,
Michael
