MindManager 2016 - T o upgrade or not to upgrade...

I'm currently running MindManager 15 15.1.173 (64bit). My renewal period is coming up in the next month, so I'm thinking of upgrading to MindManager 2016.

Are there any critical reasons for not doing so?

Thanks in advance.

Maybe I misunderstand your question.
If you have a subscription that comes up for renewal, you are entitled to MM16.

So why not?
MM16 has Flowcharting as an important extra, supports multimonitors- and if you have MM16 Enterprise you get Zapier to connect with hundreds of web apps.

A comparison is here: https://www.mindjet.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Comparison-Chart-Windows-E-300.pdf

Morning

I know that I'm entitled to MM16, but I'm in the midst of a major project involving some large maps and so am cautious in making the leap if there are unfixed issues that have broken existing functionality.

Thank you for the link, which I shall peruse later.

Regards

James.

In that case broken functionality should not worry you. I have not found it.

However the user interface has lost its colour and some functions have a different name and location.
That may get you confused when you are in a project.

So why not download MM16 already and use the MM16 key you are entitled to. Your next project can benefit from flowcharts etc.

I agree with Ary, upgrading to use the new flow charts and concept maps is well worth it.
