Odd... I never had this, but I will investigate.
In the meantime crashes like these, can always be told best to Mindjet Support via the Mindjet.com website and using your free Mindjet-ID

Interesting, any details of these crashes in the Event Viewer of Windows? These might point to a specific module in MindManager causing these crashes?

Most of the time these things happen if you have something installed on your machine that does not like MindManager.

It may also be that you have the bit versions 32-64 bit not completely in sync.

Or your systems admin decided to leave something out at installation time. This can be avoided by just installing through click's on next, next etc.

Problem is, it happens only when selecting a topic and right click and choose Send to and select Send to Word.
While using File - Export - Word works ok.

Both programs are 32-bits, running on a 64 bits computer

I would try to get them all on 64 bit. Your OS probably uses 64bit.

I'm running the laptop from home and my account has no admin rights. But back at work I can give the acount admin rights again and do a reinstallation to see if it helps.
The strange thing is that doing the export within a few minutes after startup, all things work ok,
But if I had the program open for a while, and probably has edited the map, it crash.

Works great here, as u describe. But I am running latest WIN10 64-bit with the 64-bit installer of MM. Smooth as silk!

Since many computers has policies not to start programs like Word without calling word with a file to work on, the solution that works is to remember to start up Word before doing the export.
Because the way MM activate Word, it is also important to have a blank file to work on, like the one default started.
Otherwise, the new Word file is appended to the latest open file, which maybe is not intended.
Perhaps the export should like, from the File|Export|Word export, ask for a file to create before starting the export.

Culprit was the existence of Office 2010 in itself combined with domain policy which banned such opening of other programs without a file, where it was expected that Word should create a new file.
Functions normally in Office 2016 where my account was given needed installarion rights by the domain distributed installer.
