MMAP, Version 10.5.133 is SLOW on a Mac

Using MindManager, Version 10.5.133 on a Mac (macOS Sierra, 10.12.1 (16B2555)), is very slow to go to full screen, scroll, add a topic, on a map that doesn't have that many topics.

Is anyone else experiencing disappointing / slow performance?

Cheers.

I have no performance issues with version 10.5.133 on macOS Sierra 10.12.1. Did you upgrade to Sierra after installing MindManager?

I have the promlem. Brand new MacBook Pro with the latest MM 10 and macOS Sierra. Very slow performance, even with a very simple map.

Hi,
I had the same problem when opening a file made with an older version. The solution is to save the mind map as a MindManager map (XML) *.xmmap filename. To close the mind map and reopen it as xmmap and re-save it as a normal mind map (mmap). You can delete the xmmap and  just keep the mmap. There must be something with the file structure it also solves the issue with exporting in html 5.

Well... we eliminated one possible cause.

Best way to get this to the right support people fast is:
Please send your map to customer.support@mindjet.com and in the email mention what  is not working

Just tested shortly. Seems to be little bit faster but there is still lag when moving bigger maps. Must do some testing more.

Using Version 10.6.112 and still scrolling is quite slow even with smaller maps. Not a pleasant experience...

Same problem here. Very slow scrolling on even small maps. Trackpad scrolling virtually unusable.

I've noticed it's a lot faster if you switch from a Retina resolution to a non-retina resolution. Not a solution, I know...

Hi Everyone,

We have a new build that we have produced as a limited beta that we think addresses the performance issues. Would anyone here be interested in testing this out for us? If so please email me at mark.beare@corel.com
