Hey together,

I have got a question. I have built up a Mindjet-Map with a lot of links to some files in the same folder on my hard disk. Now I would like to move this folder on my hard disk.
In this case I will lose all my links to the files, issn`t it? Is there an option to move this folder without losing my links?

Best regards

Thomas

MindManager may try to help you to rebuild the links and this may work.

What I do:

To edit all the links on the map in one move:

Find - Replace - Option - Links

Replace the beginning of the link with the new location.

Mmh. I have tested it again and it does not work completly. In my map there are collected Hyperlinks (see the attachment). If I use your solution, only the first hyperlink will be changed. The other Hyperlinks are unchanged.

Do you have a further solution?

That's something for you should take up with Mindjet via support.

A Replace All should do what it says on the tin.

You could try repeating the Find and Replace. Maybe it will go on the second link. Repeat again until all links are updated.

Note: if you web export a topic with multiple links only the first one appears in the export.
