MS Project export work

How can I export the task information "Work" to Project. When using the "Export to Project" feature only the duration is exported, which than is interpreted by project to mean a certain amount of work, which usually ends in wrong information.
Edit: I just noticed the problem seems to be even worse:
It seems as if Mindmanager is exporting the duration of a task to the "work" field instead of the "duration" field in Project resulting in utter nonsense.

Sorry, if I use strange field names, my MindManager and Project are in German, so I use the best translations I can think of.

I did a simple export on an English version of MindManager and MS Project, Janna. See screenshot below.

Is this about the Effort field not being exported to Project?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I was referring to the effort field which doesn't get exported.

Anyone? Anyone? I  have this same issue. What field does "Effort" export to?

Effort in MindManager should map to Work in MS Project. In MS Project you can add a Work column to the Gantt Chart view to see it or switch on the Task Usage pane.

I would have thought so too. Doesn't seem to "work"

It works if the task has a Resource to assign the Effort to. Work/Effort needs something to be working for the time assigned to it. If nothing is assigned, there is no Work/Effort. See image

I have resources assigned to the task, but even though I have Task Info filled out for the task, it wasn't "added" to the chart. Once I clicked "Add Task Info", the Work shows up. Example: Setup  and Expose with the "task added" circles show work in th Project file, but tasks that have info entered but not "added" do not have work info.

In the example above I did not use the Add Task Info button. I selected the task, opened the Task Info pane and added task data.

The circle is the task progress indicator. Click on it and it will be more complete.

Why is your Task Information not visible on the topics as in my example? Perhaps View ribbon - Show/Hide - Task Information is disabled.
