new Mind manager versions Dissapointed

I have been a mindjet customer for a few years now and mindmapper enthusiast since many years. I do own other applications license and what I do is to complement my mapping needs since I see some apps are more flexible to manage information than others while others allows more creativity and customization of the elements. My personal opinion is that I feel a little disappointed with the last mindmanager upgrades and I feel not motivated to move to the next version when I see the value of the features. There is an announcement of a new version 15 and I click some banners that encourage to upgrade for a better price but there is no information what are the new changes to come. Asking CS chat I realize that the information is minimum to nothing and what they barely mention seems like a make up similar to version 14. I have been waiting to see more customization, flexibility, organic branches, auto versus manual layouts things like that but seems this is not a priority. I work as a project manager but I still see that visual really matters when talking about mind mapping, however I starting to think I am not a target customer for mindjet. Sorry to sound like this but at least I wanted to share my opinion as a customer. I will wait to the webinar of the new product to see if I have to rephrase my words and change the opinion or forget about to see the product I am expecting from Mindjet.

yes, yes and yes.... I dont know where they set their focus, but its definetly not on the individual. in my opinion the changes in MM15 are only worth a version change like 14.x
so little changes for 200€ unbeliveable!

And Yes! They stress project management functionality in the new version. And that is moving activities in the gantt. Nothing more. What about descent printing, gantt in a separate window etc.

It feels like that the company is under stress right now (by some reasoan) and need to come out with a new version, as the do every year. This is the result.

Well, I went for the upgrade and paid the $200. I did it because I still feel this is a good application for planning projects and brainstorming (since MM11) and didn't want to stay behind from newest releases however I still think that in the last 2 versions of MM14 and MM15 the improvements are minimun or barely noticeable and I think they overestimate their product. If you are a company that praises innovation I think you have to walk the talk. As a customer and mind mapper enthusiast I am always excited when there is a new release announcement, expecting to see nice features, that helps on creativity and flexibility for managing information. For instance I like the sketch image library however not sure why they do not expand the Icon library too which by the way is very limited and has not been modified in a while. The layout of the elements is very rigid too and I wish there is an auto and manual layout option to allow position the elements where you want or need. I do not expect that mind manager looks like iMindmap but they might try to see what others are doing and see what ideas can worth to be implementing in their own product. In a different field this is what Apple end doing with their competion after they ran out of ideas and start losing a big piece of their market.
