Not much to be happy about with this new pricing model. Takes choice away from the user. Used to love it.

The subscription-only model alienates those who used Mind Manager for personal organization inside a company. I can't use the web features, and don't even want to. I just need a well-integrated desktop app. Now they want me to be paying for bloat, ever year, and any upgrades don't need to have much value to still be purchased. This is wrong. Just offer a "disconnected from the web" desktop app in addition to the bloated stuff. Simple.

I agree with everything in Donovan Pfeifer's message.

Mindjet for individuals is a nice try, but I do not want to pay for a subscription.
Offer me an offline Mindjet 11 license, to be mine for life without unnecessary varieties of web services!

Every time Mindjet came with a new release of MindManager I was so happy and excited! I couldn't wait to check out the new features - or go to a release seminar and meet fellow mappers. And crossing my fingers that I could join the next beta program as well. I'm so going to miss those good old days. now It'll be just like paying the power bills.

I agree - the subscription model is not good and it is to pricy as well.
