Generally I like working on two screens. It would be GREAT, if I could see the mindmap on one screen, while working in the notes panel on the 2nd screen. Saying this, the best would even be, that the notes panel actually is ms word itself, this way, exporting the map to ms word would not be necessary anymore. Creating a complex document (like a master thesis) would be a lot more fun and more easy to structure!

I thought MIndManager 2016 has that facility?
Are you using that? or an older version? or a Mac?

I am using MM2016. Indeed, you can use two screens, but only working with two maps, each on one seperate screen. The notes panel still is on the same screen as the mindmap is. As far as I know, there is no way of seperating the window of the mindmap from the window of the notes panel. Would be soooo HAPPY, if it would be possible!

You can stretch the MindManager window on to the second screen. Restore Down and then drag the edge of the window across to other monitor.

I use this UltraMon to manage my screens. It adds an icon to swop screens or stretch to the window control bar. For MindManager you have to customise UltraMon for this application in its Options - Compatibility - Configure Settings - For MindManager - Force windows buttons fixes it.
