Object model MindManager 15 for Windows

Hello,

I need to use object model reference for macro development. I can't find any documentation for download or online help like for VBA. I found links to devzone.mindjet.com, but I obtain an error message on these pages (e.g. https://devzone.mindjet.com/display/mdnHome/Home) if I try to open these pages. Any idea? Thanks a lot!

These links still work: https://secure.mindjet.com/partners/devzone/7/devzone/Page6.html
Although this information is for MindManage 7, the basics are still the same.

I know, however the documentation is has not really been maintained by Mindjet in the past years. The good news is that most parts of the object model have not been changed between versions.

You might want to try to get in contact with Developer.Network@mindjet.com to see if there is someone there who can send you the latest info?

I haven't heard about any documentation updates yet, there was a short bullet list of technical changes included with the MindManager 2016 beta but no new documentation.

I wrote to Developer.Network@mindjet.com and have got an older - but told, still valid, - API description..
I'll try to find what I can do with it. It should be enough as I am yet interested in some basic functions only.

Hi Kurt

Do you mind sharing that document? I would like to get a copy of it and most probably it will be easier to get it from you

Thanks

Yes, the older API's are still valid. The good thing about the Mindjet architecture is that it doesn't change too much between versions.

It's basically valid!
Not all can be included, as there are a lot of new features in the 2016 version.
So for the moment it's ok for me, but I might run into troubles latter on.

I did a small test and it looks like there are some issues with https://secure.mindjet.com/partners/devzone/7/devzone/Page6.html ?
