Office Integration MM19 does not work

Hi there,

we use use in the company MM2019 (64bit) and Office 2013 (32bit). MM2019 is installed on the clients with all add-ins as standard. I can see the *.dll in the installationpath. But they all do not work and cannot be activated in the options. They are not visible. If if try to add them manually i get the attached error (means it is not a valid office add-in).

Is it possible that the 64bit and 32bit versions do not work together?

We have this issue on all the clients we tested.

Hi Miriam,
Hi Miriam,
You are right, both Office and MindManager must have the same bit version for the add-ins to work.

Yes under support there is a lot of installation info in the download section.
https://www.mindjet.com/support-info/

MM installs the version 64bit or 32 bit automatic dependent on the OS bit version, so you may want to switch. You can always ask support for help - Best if you create a free mindjet ID.
your reseller should have told you that as well.

By the way, If you have MM installed on many (more than 5) desktop-laptops clients, you should have MMEnterprise and that comes with an Obligatory MSA support subscription. With that you should install and gain the benefits of MM2020 you are entitled to as part of the MSA.

Thank you very much Ary! I already found that. It says in the User's Manual

"The add-ins will not add buttons to applications from the 64-bit edition of Office. If you are running the 32-bit version of Office on either a 32-bit or 64-bit system, you should see buttons from the add-ins if they are enabled. Consult the Microsoft Office Help for more information on using Add-ins with Office "

That's why i'm unsure if it should work or not....
