One map switching different language versions with one click

We regularly have to prepare maps with same content but different content language. It would be very nice to have only one file in which the content language can be changed by a click instead of having multiple versions which have to be updated one by one.

How badly do you need this?  It could be done today with some custom code :)

Would be great to have it at all. In two weeks we have to present to our research partners and would be nice to have such a function.

Please feel free to contact me at harportconsulting dot com, or any of the other MindManager developer partners. Anyone with knowledge of the MindManager object model would be able to provide this function.

How about putting all the content in all languages in one map and coding the languages using icons? Then use the Power Filter to filter on a specific language so you can have different 'views' of the same information?

Mathieu - wouldn't that effectively be two maps? You would need to duplicate everything - other icons, images, relationships, task info and so on, in a duplicate of every main topic. The topic versions cannot be "joined together" again to give a single parent for their subtopics. Updating the map would still require making the same change twice. It's not easy to visualise :)

I made a map with the basic phrases you use when travelling some time ago.
There is a dutch based version and an english one

I use the power filter to switch languages

It's not perfect, and there are many app's on your smartphone that can do the same and better, but it may be an example on how to solve STeske's question.
