When exporting the mindmap (v9) as a Viewer PDF the mindmap styles - shapes and fills are displayed as lines

Are you using the latest version of Adobe? Please let me know if the problem persists. Thanks!

Thanks for your time Brittney, I using Reader 10.1.1 and for plugins accessibility.api 10.1.1.33

This is a particularly frustrating problem as I cannot share my maps with colleagues and my client.

The PDF Viewer does not reproduce exactly the style and layout of the original map. You may find simplifying the styles helps.

There was an issue like this a while back but I think that was before Adobe 10. I have 10.1.3. Which version of MindManager are you using 9.x.x?

I have just produced this PDF with MindManager 9.2.504

It's a good reproduction of the map in a 4.5mb file. The almost perfect reproduction in a web image is only a 0.38mb file. See next link.

None of the issues you mention. Only the line thickness is different.

Thanks Andrew, I'm using the same version of MindManager as you ..... interestingly I can see both your pdfs very clearly - no missing bits that I know of.

I don't have a problem creating readable pdfs - I get the problem when I create a playable pdf (like your first file) and .swfs

My maps are many levels deeper and I use standard subtopic shapes and colours.

Unfortunatley I cannot share any of these maps with you as I am not permitted to upload.

Just for clarity the second map is not a PDF, it is a customised clickable image map web export.

What size mb are the PDF files you are generating?

I have the opportunity to go from version 9 to 2012 - has the software that produces viewable PDFs changed ?

I have the same problem as Irvine. It turns out this is a bug. If you apply the formatting directly to the topics, the formatting will appear in the .pdf. If you define a topic style and apply the style, it will not. I have reported the bug.
