"Would be good, if access could be configured on level 1 and level 2 of a mindmap. Let assume a mindmap is used for project management and we have 4 sub-projects. Each sub-project manager should have full access (read-write) only to his/her branch. For the other branches view only access should be configurable."

"As a consultant, I have demo'd the use of MM to dozens of large organizations. This is easily the number #1, first-asked question when considering the real-time capability and benefits of mind-mapping." [from Sylven 'Brady' Reed]

"A related and useful idea would be to introduce a ""callout mode"" in addition to the read or edit modes, hence the other would only can add callouts to the branches, but don't be able to edit other things.

And a further interesting mode could be a check list similar one. The partner would be able to check boxes or add or change an icon status" [from mentalwaves]
