Please please please add the functionality to Roll up Money calculations very similar to the way you can roll up time. in fact there was another Roll up idea I thought of the other day but I can't think of it now. So Maybe it would be best to have a general roll up function that is flexible to roll up what ever you need it to whether its time/ money/quantities or whatever else comes along. This would Greatly enhance mindjets functionality to everyone how plans projects because I could enter 1 budget change on my map and it would automatically show up in all the ways it needed to, clear up to the master budget. This just really makes sense as a foundational element because anybody using a mindmap to plan a project would need to allocate financial resources as equally as important as people or other resources.
Thanks!

I LOVE MINDJET!!!!!!!!!!!

While I support your call for alternative roll-up calculatons of sub-topics along the lines you propose, have a look at the Opti-tools from Olympic software.

They include a couple of tools that allow you to sum topics and also perform basic caculations on them. Neither of these tools is quite what you describe but it they be useful.

Michael, is there a way to add billing rates to resources so that they can be rolled up across the project map?

It's possible but would require a lot of manual work. The formulas do not work with the task information and resources. Formulas could emulate that but it would be very time consuming to maintain if the plan is volatile.

Thanks for the response. It seems like a logical feature to include in MM15, especially since they just added an Effort field in addition to the Duration field.
