Reduced functionality after upgrading to Mindmanager 2012.

I recently purchased Mindmanager 2012 ( from my own pocket ) after upgrading to windows 7 as I have relied on the export to powerpoint and word functionality. Due my dyslexia and ADHD the export functionlity to powerpoint has been key to work success.
Now I find that the export function where Mindmanager used to be smart enough to help me start organising presentations etc. no longer works as before.
Would it be possible to have the same functionality as before as well as the new one.

I understand that the product evolves but the export functionality was a key deciding factor for my purchase and reccomendations to my collegues who have also purchased mindmanager in the past

Thankyou for your reply but this came up as I was trying to generate a presentation from an older Mindmap only to get error messages from Mindmanger stating that it could not as slides from a previous version of mindmanager were incompatible. Meaning that all the old slide structure was lost and has to be regenerated.

I understand that the new functionality is useful but as Mindmanager over the years has been promoted by dyslexia groups all over the world I was suprised that
a functionality that was useful for a quick preliminary organisation of a summary presentation of a brainstorm was removed.

I have found the old funtionality was useful in quickly seeing what the structure of the presentation should be.

It would be nice to have the option to have quick export to Powerpoint and also the option to struture the slides in the new way.
thanks.

Improving the updated slide creation is something that we'll be looking at in future updates. It's been raised several times. Unfortunately it looks like it would be very difficult to merge the old way with the new way. We can move the new way forward though and provide easier ways to generate slides and possibly bring back some slide formatting options.

We are presently developing an add-in called PowerPoint4Maps that will provide a visual and intuitive way of both developing, viewing PowerPoint slides directly within the MindManager interface with export.

Link to our tweet announcement at http://www.topic4maps.com/ and we will let you know when it is released.
