Problem opening a file

I recently have the following problem:
Opening a mindjet file by clicking directly at a file results in mindmanager downloading the file from the web. However the file resides in a map on my disk. I get a screen with download request but nothing happens thereafter. I can now only open the file from the mind manager start page. This is very ennuying.
Can some body give me advise in how to corret this? Has anybody encounter same problem?
Thks in advance.

Where are you trying to open the maps from? If they are saved on your desktop, did you save them as a SWF file? Thank you!

No, I saved it as a normal .mmap file. And the file resides in a map on my PC.

@Brittney Mazzetta I noticed now that when I open the same file from another laptop (part of my network) there is no problem at all. The file opens direct when clicked at. This PC is a windows 7 -64 bit system. Whereas the PC where problem occurs is a windows xp system. Strange because I never had this problem before on either the two systems.

There is no need for support from your team. I found why I cannot open the file by direct clicking on the file. For some unknown reason the properties were changed. I 've noticed that in the properties of the file the tab "open with" was directing to another software such as e.g. Explorer or Power point. When I changed this to open with MM2012 things were allright again.
Another remarkable issue is that several files in different maps were corrupted in this way. But when corrected on one or two files the others were also corrected.
May be you could find out why this could happen. It may result in an improvement of the interface if there is a fault.

You can close the support ticket as "solved" Thanks for all your help!
