Problem with ThinkingSpace Cloud

I am using ThinkingSpace and the Cloud functionality seems to have stopped working. I no longer get versions of maps, and if I try to cloud a map, I get a message that synchronization is taking place, but again, no versions of the map are saved. If I log into the Cloud portal I do not see any maps. If I upload a freemind map from my pc, I am also unable to see that through the cloud portal. Thoughts? Is there any way to reset the portal somehow? This happened when I moved from one tablet to another. Thanks for any help you can provide. I would like to get the cloud working again.

Try retrieving any previously stored cloud maps via the web-portal at: http://thinking-space.appspot.com. Going forward, we strongly recommend taking a look at the new Dropbox based cloud support for Mindjet for Android 1.1. We think you will really like it!

I have tried that. However I cannot see any maps in the portal. Also, when I try to upload a map from my computer via the portal, once I hit the submit button, the map will not show up in the list, or on my tablet in ThinkingSpace.

I am still looking into this for you. The status stayed from the original answer. I have since changed it and will be in touch once I hear more regarding this. Thank you.

Hi Levon,

Brittney contacted me about your question. I head of the product management for our mobile and desktop products.

The ThinkingSpace cloud offering was never actually supported by ThinkingSpace according to the terms and conditions. At Mindjet, we chose to not support ThinkingSpace cloud and, instead, support a more scaleable alternative approach with Dropbox. With dropbox, you should be able to sync your maps in the cloud and access them from other devices.

We'll also be offering a free Mindjet solution for storing your maps in the cloud in the future which we're working on now.

Thanks for your patience and I apologize for any inconvenience.

Michael

Michael,

Thanks for the update. I have pretty much given up on it at this point. I'll install Dropbox and use that instead. Brittney can close this out.
