In Windows 7, if you type text in Russian, as soon as you type Space, the font of the following text switches to some odd alphabet (not Russian at all), and since then you cannot type Russian letters.

An update for this issue for MM v. 10.1.459.
Now the text encoding is not being corrupted while typing notes initially. But if you switch to another topic and then back - all Cyrillic text in notes is corrupted.

E.g. I typed "Тест тест тест" in the topic's notes and after clicking another topic and then the first one again I see "Òåñò òåñò òåñò" instead. If, however, I just type "Тест" (one word), it remains unchanged.

Same problem here - I'm unable to do any notes in Russian. Mind map is pretty useless without notes feature

Another problem with Russian language on MJ for Mac (9.0.214)

I'm using three languages on my MBA (English, Spanish and Russian). When working with big maps (> 100 topics), when I create a new topic and start typing the content - first letter is always in Russian, even if the current language is English or Spanish. If I continue typing, all other characters are in correct language.

Not sure if it's the problem with Russian fond/language. Haven't tried to remove Russian language from the settings.

Hello Mindjet support team! What about this issue? Seems that it is the hottest problem taking into account the number of "having the same problem" customers...

The funny thing that the only build of MindManager 2012 which works OK with notes in Russian is 10.0.445, BUT - the build has a big issue with keeping connection to Mindjet Connect!

problem is not solved completely.
Russian font (pragmatica) is visible only in the topic notes window. But when you put mouse over the notes icon on topic, then you see "mojibake" (krakozyabry) again... and if you copy notes, e.g., to a notepad, you see "mojibake" again.

The problem is solved by Pragmatica only partly.
When I export e-mails from Outlook to MM using button in Outlook or by Outlook queries within MM e-mail attached as a note has wrong encoding for russian symbols because MM takes fonts from embedded into e-mail HTML. If e-mail is sent in plain text or HTML doesn't have font tag (e.g. from Thunderbird clients) there is no problem because MM use default font Pragmatica.

Please, solve the problem!!!

Fine!
I have 10.1.459 that I bought for 299 Euro. So, you proposal to solve the problem (emerged by your bug) is to buy another version for another 299 Euro (but only for a year) Fine! fine! fine!
Perfect decision of the money-grubbing company which product aimed on demands others money-grubbing comanies from the Fortune's top 100 list. And what about individuals?
If I were you I'd proposed free upgrade to 11. Eh?

Hello,
I've just updated to 10.2.404
It seems that problem with russian font is disappeared.
It looks like on-line decoding: every time I click on Topic notes I see it 1 sec in wrong code and than in russian :) but it works!
Export from Outlook works more or less good. I think it depends on mail coding also. Baloon pop-ups works properly.
I tested on Arial font and Tahoma as well as Pragmatica on Win7 (64)

So, I'm withdrawing an accusation (partly) of inattention to individuals. :) Opinion about money-grubbing remeain in force. :)

Thanks a lot!
