By default the links in your mindmap are set on Releative.
However It may be not the case in your specific map.

Go to the Home or Insert tab => Topic elements => Link and click ont hte twistie (triangle)
Click URL/File path
Click Advanced and it should show relative is selected.
If  not do so and save.

In principle your map can be saved and copied to another location and the links should work.
Ofcourse the files your map links to should be available from the new location.

There maybe more detailed info on this, but this helps most of  the time.

Thanks, Ary.
It does not help. the links are set relative, linking with another mindmap works, but not with the linked documents which I have collected in a subfolder. the relative links are using a path name from my computer and not of the new location.

Hi Michael,

If you are using MindManager for Windows, try the 'Pack and Go' feature. This feature will look for all linked files in your map and include them as attachments in a Zip archive. Once the Zip archive is extracted on your colleagues computer, the links to the files should work just fine as they will point to the attachments in the extracted  folder.

On your computer, open your map and then go to File>Export>Pack and Go. From there, select which linked files should be included as attachments and complete the export.
