The first is an apparent discrepancy in the way in which the Gantt chart displays dependencies. As I understand it you can only create a dependency from a rolled up task to a non-rolled up one (not vice versa, or between two rolled up tasks). That's fine, but the issue is that the relationship lines for these dependencies are shown in the map but not in the Gantt view, whereas "ordinary" dependencies between two non-rolled up tasks do appear (albeit without any formatting). Is there a reason for this?
The second issue is that the section of MM Help dealing with this is really confusing. I think there is a word missing in the following but I can't work out what it is:
"When the Task Info for a topic is read-only (grayed) the task may only be the determining (independent) task in a dependency:
Tasks that are in roll-up branches, and whose Task Info is calculated
Tasks linked to SharePoint tasks
Read-only tasks linked to Outlook tasks"
