Runtime error upon first launch of Mindmanager 2012

Attempted to install MM 2012....ran into Visual C++ runtime error forcing an "abnormal program termination".

Error message is attached.

I have MM V9 onboard...and seem to remember the same problem with it until I received a quick fix/patch from tech support.

Any ideas?

Neglected to mention the following....Win XP Pro OS on Dell laptop...Mindmanager 2012 install out of the box.

I have the same problem reloading mindjet 8 after a computer repair. I'm very unhappy about having to wait 2 days for a reply to a trouble ticket. Mindjet is very useful to me, so this is a real handicap to my work.

...same problem here. downloaded on 3/7/12 onto W7x64home...laptop
no trouble on an older XP desktop
just installed 10.1.459 of 3/8/12, no help there - same problem.
