Save problem on network drive -- solved

Finally I found a workaround for the save problem on network drive.
I used a sniffing tool and I discovered that mindmanager causes following: the local system user wants to connect over port 80 to the fileserver while saving. (It might be the local system user, because this user installed the software)
This causes a no host connection, because on our fileserver there is no IIS installed and it results to a timeout. If I save on a server with IIS installed, there is never a timeoutproblem.
My solution: I made an outbound rule on the firewall of my Win7 PC to block port 80 to the fileserver. It works!
Best regards, Markus

Great work Markus. I would like to try this. Could you give some more details of the rule you configured?

Hi Nick
Start the cmd-shell as an Administrator and then type this in one line. (x.x.x.x is the IP-Adress of your Fileserver):

netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="Block Port80 to Fileserver for Mindmanager" dir=out action=block protocol=TCP remoteport=80 remoteip=x.x.x.x
