Firstly select a group of similar topics eg Main and sub, Floating, Central.
Tip: For most maps I do CTRL-A and then deselect the Central Topic.
Then right click a topic, select Format Topic, Map Theme, Revert to Default Theme for this map.

You could use the Reset Current Map Theme to Default command located off the Design menu.

You might be able to add that command to the Quick Access toolbar for one-click operation.

Nigel, I tried this on a map imported from iThoughts.
- I applied a Default theme to the map.
- I used the "Reset Current Map Theme to Default" and nothing happened.
- I used my process and the map was converted to my selected default theme.
I think the map from iThoughts behaves as if all the topics have had their setting individually set.
Does anyone else get similar or different results?

Hi Andrew,
Interesting. Unfortunately, (or fortunately), I am not familiar with the "i" world in any shape or form so cannot comment on why this might be :-)

A two-click solution :) that I use a lot in sessions with clients:
- ctrl+a to select all topics
- ctrl+space to remove formatting of selected topics so all topics will have default formatting again.

That's neat! Especially as the Central Topic doesn't object as in my previous process.
