Segmentation of posts by product categories to save time, which is money

Maybe this suggestion is already in place and because I am so new to Mindjet in general (11 hours a proud owner) and the community in particular (one whole hour), I haven't seen it or figured it out yet.

I have read every post on the first page, whether a question or a problem, in order to become more familiar with Mindjet and gain knowledge. I realised very quickly that many of the posts did not apply to me as they were about products other than MindManager Professional 2012 for Windows, which is the one I am using.

I wondered whether it would be helpful for all posts to be segmented into product categories so community members could just click on a page dedicated to their product. That way, we all would avoid reading about products which do not apply to ourselves, which would save energy, money and time - the three resources busy people wish to conserve.

Is that already the case? If not, just a thought ...

Thank you for your suggestion Caitlin. You can specify which product you are posting about under Products and Services on the right had column of the screen. If you are looking to search posts by certain products, there are a list of products on the right hand column, towards the bottom of the Community page. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

Evernote forum (http://discussion.evernote.com/) is an example of a good design and good usability.

Thank you very much, Brittany, for your reply. I really appreciate you taking the time to write back.

I apologise I did not know about the fact that my suggestion was already implemented on the site. You look like a very busy lady; I have read many of the posts in this forum today from Page 1 (most recent) to Page whatever-number-my-post-is-on and many of the replies are from you. So please accept my sincere apology for taking up your valuable time unnecessarily. I will look under Products and Services first next time before putting claws to keyboard! (Smile ...)

mdalves, thank you also very much for your reply. I will have a look at the page you suggested. Best wishes to you in your work.

Cheers to all from Caitlin in South-East Queensland, Australia
