"You drop a 1000 pieces of random information onto the map and it groups them automatically by identifying their relationships between each other. The themes the mind map picks out could prove extremely valuable. The random bits of information could be incident help desk calls, news stories about a company or feedback on a product (exactly like this). "

"This would imply that MM would be able to search for keywords and synonyms. It would also imply that we are able to add further keywords and are generally able to customize such things including the design of further categories.

MM would need to have a linguistic database, but this would also can be used for the brainstorming sessions, hence it would have many uses." [from mentalwaves]
