We all can open files stored on Mindjet Files but we are not able to make changes to the maps my colleagues and I are working on. It says 'Loading Map'.

Have you contacted support? My suggestion would be to go to Mindjet Support directly.
To set this up, please contact customer.support@mindjet.com and tell them the problem

Richard, do you still have issues today? Our team didn't experience any issues yesterday.

If this happens again, you might be able to work around the issue by first checking out the map and then downloading the map before making any changes. However, this will remove the concurrent editing features as the map will be checked out.

Hi Mathieu, We still had the issue. We now think that the problem where the attached files. The file was about 12mb (which, according to me, is not a huge file) but after we have been taking away the attachments we had no problem anymore. Do you know what is the maximum size of a file stored in MindJet Files?

Thanks for the workaround suggestion. We did do it like you recommended but the reason we have been choosing MindManager is the beautiful solution to work in the same file, at the same time from different locations. We are using the tool for the 3rd year and till now I have not seen any real improvements to this system. Although we are charged quite a lot for it the website and the so-called Project-director have not been updated for years. It's a pity because this is exactly why MindManager could be such a strong tool. If it works well it could have been the best project management tool available but now it unfortunately isn't.

Just curious. How did Mindjet support respond to your problem?

They recommend us to reset the internet browser caches and cookies. According me this makes no sense because we are using MindManager Enterprise and we approach the files via MindJet files and not true any browser. This is by the way a standard “solution” which they always send when such a problem occurs.

Further they offered that if this solution did not work, I should provide the name of your cloud account that you are referring so they could have a look themselves? I had it once and I have to say the helped me out that time.

It looks like the maximum size for uploaded files is 64MB, see this page from the help file:

Our file had about 12,6MB and we could not open it anymore. Now we upload the files to Project Director (MindJet Files) and then we create a link to that document in the mindmap. This works well but a big disadvantage is that the connections get lost when you export the file to a HTML5 file.
