Mindmanager and SharePoint are not the best friends, can anybody help me getting them to work together better?
I want to encourage my teams to use SharePoint for all files that are for common use.
When you save Mindmanager files on SharePoint Document Libraries, they cannot be opened using the GUI, The file is stored in a temporary folder and needs to be saved as a new file. This is what I do not want since we want to use the SharePoint benefit of using only one visible most recent file that has all previous versions of earlier changes available in the background.
We use the latest Sharepopint and Mindmanager 15.
Our SharePoint docuiment libraries are set up with versioning and the need to check out a file when editing it, and checking in again when ready so other people can see and use the new version.
I know the option of mapping drives and open / save from there, but that is not a feasible solution for us since all employees use the GUI and we cannot implement a policy to work around one kind of files. The other reason is that Mindmanager does not recognise the need to check out and check in files.
This prevents us from making Mindmanager a standard application for our 300 employees, so there is something in it for Mindjet too :-)
Help on this topic would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance for that!
