Slow Power Filter in complex maps

In larger / complex maps, filtering takes a long time, perhaps because the screen slows down the process (because of animation / scrolling through the map to be filtered).

Is there a way to disable automatic scrolling through the display while filtering?

Thanks

I can't help you with this, but I am always cautious with very large maps especially once they start to slow down noticeably when filtering as I've had some freeze up. One thing I do is always save the map in an unfiltered state when I'm finished with it.

I agree with Alex.

Avoid large complex maps. As soon as you encounter issues (and that goes for any software) I suggest you rethink your map and probably restructure,

You can achieve a lot already with the Map Rollup Functionality.
With that you can have a Portfolio Management Dashboard to keep your Helicopter view while maintaining detailed info in separate project maps.
