Many times I'm getting an error message when trying to save a map in Mindmanager 15:

STORAGE ERROR
Replacing file on save has failed.
System returned 0x00000001

The error occurs only when using Mindmanager. Any suggestions?

It seems to be an issue with the beta version of Windows 10. I think it will be corrected in the next update of the Windows system. But I would like to have your opinion.

I'm wondering if this is about a local map or a map that's stored online? Does this happen on all maps?

It is a local map, Mathieu. It is happening in some maps only, the ones of larger size. Not all times, but some times. I'm having some small issues with the beta version of Windows 10. Maybe the error messages are because that. But I don't get the messages in any other program.

The error may be caused by storing on external or network drives and maybe the preview pane (in windows explorer ) is open .

Thanks Shilpa! I'm using a local drive, but sometimes I have the preview pane open in Windows Explorer. I will make some tests and post the results hear.

I disabled the preview panel in Windows Explorer, and the error message in Mindmanager stoped. Maybe that is the problem! I will keep testing...

Same problem with Windows 7. I can save the map to a new name, then delete (or rename) the "bad" map, then rename the new to the old.
Think we have MJ stumped.
My only comment is the problem started with MJ2017 but I could be wrong.

Well ... the original post refers to MM vs 15 on Windows 10. Since the solution at that time was Not to use the builtin browser it may be a Microsoft version issue again
