Does anyone have suggestions where I can upload the HTML 5 export file on a web-based community site where the students can view the files online, make their comments?

I was very disappointed that the HTML 5 export feature has some issues. And looking at some of the dates from others who have posted in the forum, it looks like it isn't going to get resolved soon.

I am teaching a class on project management. I was planning on using MindManager for teaching how to create a work breakdown structure.

I was planning on the students to export their maps to each other so they can make comments on them. Now with the export issues, I don't want to slow them down working on software problems when I need them focused on schoolwork.

Thank you.

Hi Steve, We are actively working on an update to the HTML5 export with multiple fixes and new features. Can you give more specifics on what issues you are experiencing with the HTML5 export? Also are you using MindManager for Windows or Mac?

Thanks!

Hi Sia, I have six students out of ten who said they couldn't open the HTML file. They are all using MM Windows. Two of the students tried opening up the file in IE, Firefox, and Chrome. I don't know what OS version they are using.

Since the export is just a HTML5 file, you could place those in DropBox or Box and have your students open them from there.

Also you may consider embedding them in a group website.

Hi Steve, Ary's comment is one method you could try, but it sounds like there might be some problem with the outputted code itself if that many people had a problem with it. I would love to get a copy of the mmap you are trying to export and the exported html so we can try to get to the bottom of the problem. If you can share it in a google drive that would be great, or if you want to send it to customer.support@mindjet.com and add a note to forward it to me that would work too.
