I’m considering Microsoft’s latest 2-1 tablet the Surface Pro X. As an ARM powered device I understand it will only run 32bit version of applications. Does this present any real problem with Mind Manager?

Dear Ian,

to be honest: I don't know about nor have I ever recognized any difference. Basically I understand that the MindManager installs 32 or 64 bit depending on the Office version you are running.

Despite of that, you may consider of buying an older used Surface on Ebay or alike. I'm doing that meanwhile. "Good is good enough!" ;-)

Detlef

Hey Detlef,

Thanks for taking the time to comments, and like you, I'm a little unclear on the differences, so I'm keen to see if anyone has experience of running 32bit MindManager on an ARM device.

As for older kit, I'm afraid I'm a tech junkie. My current SurfaceBook does a great job but I'm drawn to this new bit of Microsoft hardware like a moth to a flame!! :)

Cheers

Ian.
