Hi,

I would like to create a simple macro that explore map and update (or create) a link to MS Outlook tasks. I know that you can create a link to Outlook Manually by Advanced -> Outlook -> Send Items to Outlook, but how to do it in macro? I am not able to find any related attribute in the Object Model. Can you help me please? Thanks!

The Outlook-linker consists of two parts:
  • it is an add-in for MindManager, so it won't be exposed via the standard object model.
  • it will add some meta data to a topic to be able to refresh the Outlook-links and allow the user to click through from the topic in MindManager to the item in Outlook.
The metadata is partly stored as a 'Business Topic', this allows it to be refreshed via the Object Model. Using the Object Model, you could also add some information to a Topic so the Topic Linker will pick it up, however to be able to truly create links to Outlook you would also need to find out the EntryID's of the the items within Outlook...

That great, thank you. I have one more additional question - how I can create a link to Outlook using a macro? In the menu I can use Send Items to Outlook, but how can I do it in macro?

I think the  Send Items to Outlook command is directly linked to the Outlook linker add-in, and this add-in is not available via the Object Model so I don't think you will be able to access it via a macro...
