Hi,
i am working with a samsung galaxy tablet. Over the last few days I worked on a rather big map.
Today I opened the map on my desktop and all the changes of the last two days are gone. It shows me on all computers a version from 11th of march.

Does anybody know what could have happened or how I could get my work back??

Regards
Heinz

Are you using Mindjet web to access your maps between devices? Or did you save the map locally to your Samsung Galaxy Tablet? Thanks!

I do not know how to locally saving a map. So I guess I am using the Mindjet web.
When I look at a map I have created on the tablet on the desktop I am using your web site.

Did you close the map on the Android device before checking it on the Web?

On the mobile clients, the changes will not be registered in the cloud until the map is closed or saved. After closing the map on the mobile clients, the changes will get pushed up to the cloud, and will be available on other Mindjet clients.

I created a new map on my tablet. I closed the application (since I still did not get any answer how to save a map on the tablet). The map is not uploaded!! No matter what I try I have the map on the tablet but I cannot access it over Connect Basic on another device.

Can you please take a screen shot of the application in the File Navigation view (the one that lists out all of the maps stored on the device or in the cloud).

Once you have done this, the next steps would be:

1. Create a map on the tablet and add some topics to it.
2. Close the map by hitting the Android back button two times.
3. Take a screenshot of the application in the File Navigation view, with a list of the maps which includes the name of the one you just created.

Please add both images to this thread and I will take a look. Thank you!

This time it worked. Even the map I created yesterday was uploaded. I think the trick was the closing of the newly created map by double clicking the back button.
Thank you for your help

Would it be feasible to have the app update every change to the web as changes are made? At times Android has stopped the app process while I was using another app and Mindjet was in the background, thus losing all my work. A couple times I've had a random phone restart in the middle of a project.
A constant update save as changes are made, and only triggering when changes are made, would cure that. Perhaps for those with limited data plans, there could be an option to turn this on and off.
Does Mindjet continuously save changes to the onboard memory and only update to the web once the app is backed out of? Or is it an either/or situation, i.e.- either the web or the phone memory?
Thanks.
