Team Foundation Server Integration

Given that MindManager already offers integration to MS Project, Outlook and Databases it only seems natural to integrate with Team Foundation Server (TFS). More specifically I would like to see integration with TFS Work Items. By being able to see work items like features, requirements and tasks in a hierarchical mind map it would be easier to identify trends and re arrange items. Allowing for both import and export (read and write back) could make Mind Manager and integral plugin to TFS.

After a bit of google I find that TFS is part of Visual Studio Team

This means you can send info from MindManager via Zapier to Visual Studio Team Services Integrations.

I do not know if this is enough for your needs, but at least it is a first step and bear in mind that Mindjet is expanding the capabilities

There is also a Database linker under the Advanced Tab available.
That connects content of SQL databases to MindManager and is wel documented in MindManager help.

And you may consider using XML.

Infoseg has developed a new technology to generate in a very efficient way Mindmanager mind maps from complex information in data bases, web sites and text files. There is no need to use the API provided by Mindjet.

Our technology is based on a universal XML file format that can be generated directly by any company having complex information requirements. They only need to develop software to extract information using templates we provide or we can do it directly for them. XML files in that format are then converted rapidly into MindManager files by our software. Embedding email or FTP addresses in the XML files, our software does automatically send the generated mind maps to the destinations specified.

NOTE: I don't expect he will provide this for free - not even to students ;-) since it is a main part of his business offering

http://www.infoseg.com/ Ask for Jose Maria Guerrero and he will inform you in English if needed.

Hello Mathieu, from the displayed IE explorer box I can open it using WWBasic but when I try to get its source code get an error

I tried running step by step here is my code:

        Dim ie As Object
    Dim thePage As Object
    Dim strTextOfPage As String

    Set ie = CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application")
    ie.FullScreen = True
    With ie
        .Visible = True
        .Navigate "http://www.bbc.co.uk"
    End With
     'ERROR NEXT LINE
Set thePage = ie.Document Debug.Print thePage.Title Debug.Print thePage.fileSize strTextOfPage = thePage.documentElement.innerHTML Set thePage = Nothing Set ie = Nothing Your comments are welcomed thanks stan

Why not use the REST API as described here: https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/integrate/api/overview instead of trying to parse the content of a browser window?

Here are some starting points in using REST API's with these kind of scripting languages: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/4335-vbscript-rest-example/
