Text Concatenation between items

In some copying and pasting between MM and other software, copying the text may generate multiple items instead of one (depending on the text formatting)
Automatic processing is difficult to unify, it would be interesting to group the texts of several items into one. This would avoid selecting the text of each item and make copy/paste: 1 action instead of 7:
The new feature could be: Use drag & drop the item to be concatenated to the main item while pressing shift key
New action: drag&drop with shift
Old action:
-Select source item
-Select text to copy
-Copy text
-Select destination item
-Go to the end of the destination text
-Paste text
-Delete source item

You might like to suggest this to Olympic Ltd as an addition to their Opti-Suite of extra MindManager commands.

I was thinkign the exact same thing!! I would so love for you to take multiple items and just hit "Concatenate".  I use MM when I do research, and copying an pasting is key!

This is something that can be achieved with our MAP add-in for MindManager for Windows.

Thanks Nigel,  I've tried it out.. It's a good work around, but still not the simple "select and collapse". It's kinda clunky because you would need an empty parent topic to collapse/concatenate the items together.. PLUS.. it reformats the text

Regardless, thanks for the help, and I'll try to change what I'm doing to accommodate that...

Christopher,

The Roll Up Child Topics option from the drop-down section of the command will roll the child topics of the selected parent topic which solves one aspect.

We have a MAP update shortly and I will see if I can add a cobine of selection option.

The formatting is another issue altogether though.
