Text notes position

When opening text notes, if the textbox is initally positioned at the bottom of the screen the note section is grey and text can't be entered. The only way to fix is by adjusting text notes position to the right and then back to the bottom again. Is there a fix in the pipeline? This issues still perisits with the 7th June update.
