For people having problem with diabetic retinopathy the new Topic info Style is a big step back in visibility of maps with big white fields below the message.
Big white fields disturb the sight, For me this topics is not helping me bringing forward the message in each topic
Is there a possibility to turn off that field and let icons to links etc be left behind as placed earlier?

If you right click on the Topic Info background you get a number of options, including Topic Info Display Settings. If you select that the resulting dialogue box lets you choose between Modern and Legacy, with the latter returning topic info to the way it used to be displayed prior to MM21. You can also change the font and background colour, and select which items to hide or display, as well as select default tag and resource colours.

The Topic Info Display Settings also allow you to do a few other things, for example, either collapse info on topic (which will hide topic info for selected topics only) or hide topic info (which will hide topic info on all topics in the map). It's worth reading through the online help and experimenting with the these settings - it can be confusing and I'm still trying to get my head around how it all works.

Hi Alf,

Like Alex said, you can use the Legacy mode if you prefer.

However,  you can also modify the default style of the topic info box for Modern Style using the Topic Info Display Settings dialog and topic formatting options to your liking. You can use various color settings to emphasize or deemphasize different parts of the information.

Here are some examples of various combinations of topic info styles and topic styles that you might
consider:
