The Marker Index and the next version of MM for Windows

Three questions about the next version of MindManager for Windows:

1. Will the Marker Index facility continue be included?
2. Will the Marker Index facility be developed/enhanced?
3. Will the add-in pack which restores the full original Power Markers functionality to the Marker Index be updated to work with the next MM version and continue to be available as a free download (unless - hopefully - it is fully integrated into the program itself)?

I'm growing increasingly concerned at the lack of a response from Mindjet over this, especially as they are three simple questions which essentially need only yes or no answers.

The Marker index will be included in the next version of MindManager for Windows, but there are no enhancements comparing to the current version.
I don't know if the Marker index add-in pack will be updated, it is not integrated in Mm11.

Caught us over a holiday weekend :)

Yes, the marker index is still included in the desktop app. We addressed minor issues with the index to improve overall performance with the rest of the app. The add-in pack is not a supported Mindjet offering but we will continue to provide it for users that request it.

Best,
Michael

Thanks Michael.

Does that mean the add-in pack retains its full functionality, including Active Legends etc?

By the way, I've never understood why Mindjet didn't include Active legends within the desktop implementation of Marker Index. To me it is the single best add-in, sort of like the Task Management Past Due and At Risk shading on steriods (at least that's how I use it).

On a diffeerent but somewhat related issue, will Mindjet 11 retain full export to and synchronisation with Outlook?

There are no material changes since the last release of the pack that I'm aware of. Since it isn't fully supported, there's a slight chance a bug may pop up here or there.

The Outlook integration should be the same core capability as previous releases.

Thanks,
Michael
