Topic fill and line custom colour selection bug

In MM16 when you have added either a line or fill colour (either one of the default colours or a customised one) and then decide to customise it further via the Object Format Fill Color (or Line Color) on the ribbon, both the standard and custom colour selection dialogue boxes revert to black rather than showing the current colour of the highlighted topic as the starting point.

However if you right click on the topic, select Format Topic and then Fill Color (or Line color) on the Shape and Color tab the Color dialogue boxes behave as expected, showing the current colour of the topic. I don't recall this inconsistency in previous versions of MM.
