Hello,

I have a question about the tasks and resources in Mindmanager. I have assigned some tasks in a project. I have planned these tasks with a certain duration. For example, 10 working days. When I assigned the resource, I only planned 50 percent of the resource, because I know that this resource have to work in a second project as well. In fact, this resource is now 5 days on the project (40 hours). Is there a simple  way to find out the total number of hours? Thank you very much for your help

Something like this, by using the Roll-up task info functionality?

I already understood that with the rolling up. But I do not understand the values in your example. If 10 days is worked on the task (5x2 days) then that should be in total 4800 minutes. With a resource utilization of 50% so 2400 minutes in the record is but 960 minutes why?

In the example, the work is distributed over two working days. Since the default duration is 8 hrs. per day, the planned duration of the work is  8hr/day x 60 min/hr x 2 days =  960 min. During that 960 min, 4800 min of effort will need to be expended in the 5 parallel and concurrent tasks outlined in the example.(Or another way to look at it is 960 min effort/task x 5 tasks = 4800 effort)

I have also used macros extensively to perform more detailed calculations. However, I hope the above helps.
