Transferring Mindmanager licences

We have rebuilt a machine from XP SP3 to Windows 7. We extracted the licence key before the rebuild. We then installed MM8 to the new build. Tried to reactivate the licence via internet option. Tried at least 3 times and each time it fails.

Is the licencing server failing the connection? Or is it failing toaccept the licence key because it is seen as already active by the licencing server?

We have sent an email and its a two day turnaround. I would like to get this resolved before an email is sent back to say that the licence key is invalid.

This happens a lot with MindManager 8 and MindManager 7.2 which both use online activation system. I gave good experiences with Mindjet Support who are able to reset the license within a day for some of our clients.

However, you might resolve this issue (if it's not related to a locked license) by installing the latest Serice Pack (v8.2.319) for MindManager 8. Please note that Mindjet does not officially support MindManager 8 on Windows 7.
