Hi
I'm looking for a tool in which it is possible to generate a tree diagramm. In itself nothing unusual, but the node should be collapsible. In addition, I want to build the content of the diagram with data of a table and also export the content of the diagram to the table. (Import / Export). It looks pretty simple, but I didn't find a tool which fullfil this requirements. I need it to display a Bill of Material for Example (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JB9U2xPMINs)

Hi Thomas. With MindManager you can have the tree diagram and the export (to CSV format). What's the source of the data? You might be able to cut and paste the content into the MindManager map too (vs. importing it). (We also have a few partner apps that allow for importing spreadsheets).

Dependant on the database your use, it may very well be possible to make use of the standard built-in database linker.
With that feature the connection can be even more or less dynamic

Thanks a lot for the prompt response. I tried it out and I works on the first level. But how I collapse the nodes on the first level such it is possible on the third level (see picture)?

I've not used the database linker very much so I'm not sure how many levels it can handle, but you can set up a hierarchical map which is collapsible based on a table import from Word or Excel using the technique I describe here: https://sociamind.wordpress.com/2016/... Scroll down to the section on hierarchical tables.
