unable to register after purchasing a license key

I have finished my trial period and have purchased a license key. Now I have gone to the help menu to enter the license key and it is grey'd out so I am unable to enter the license key. I have since re-loaded the software and it still remains grey'd out. How do I enter my license key so that I am able to use the product again?

Yes. It is a MindManager 2012 Upgrade.

Thank you for the update.
Unfortunately the Register option on the navigation bar is greyed out - so I can't enter the licence key. When I am able to enter the key, I will make sure that there are no spaces before or after it.
