I have updated the Mac version to 10.5.133. However when I go to Format > Map Theme > Apply From Chooser - I get a blank window with nothing to choose from. If I click 'Choose' then I get a crash error. I have tried this on 2 different machines and same issue. Any ideas?

Hi Epsom definitely a bug there I think, but try this one. On your current map when you go Format > Map Theme > Apply From Chooser, Select 'Continue' then go >Save As, and save as MindManager Map Theme - call it what you like. Then go Format > Map Theme > Apply From Chooser - what do you get?

Hi - thanks for the reply - when selecting Format > Map Theme > Apply from Chooser, I only have 2 options ' cancel & choose'.

If I select choose, I get a Internal Error message. Obviously if I select Cancel, it clears the option.
I did try to save as a Map Theme and then back into Apply from Chooser but that didn't help (same issue).
Here is the crash report

Sorry my mistake - First save your Map >Save As and select as File Type 'Map Theme' Then go back to Format > Map Theme > Apply From Chooser

Hi Shilpa - did you see my 'Workaround' - maybe this will help developers identify the issue

Hi Colin,
I could not get it working using your workaround as well.
But I was able to reproduce the issue and escalated with highest priority.

Shilpa

Hi there,
Did you upgrade to the LATEST version?
Yesterday I saw an official post:
A new update for MindManager 10 for Mac, version 10.6.112, has been released
and is available now.
So maybe that could help?

Hi Ary - yes I have that version (I updated today). Right now the same issue as I reported months ago - see above - when I 'apply theme' - ' apply from chooser' in the Format menu, I get a blank window. What are you seeing when you do this?

Hi There is definitely a problem here I have same issue with latest versions of Mac and MindManager (running MM 10.5.112 on Mac OS 10.12.3) I think the issue is that you cannot view the Library folder by default in the latest OS versions. There is a work around: Make sure you can view the Library Folder on your Mac and then navigate to the Mindjet Styles Folder Here's the Path:
/Users/XXXXX/Library/Application Support/Mindjet/Mindjet MindManager/10/English/Library/Styles
where XXXX is your User Name. Drag this folder to the Finder Window SideBar so it's always visible. Then use Format>Map Theme>Apply From File. As a matter of interest I use a Macbook with a Windows partition via Parallels, and I have also added the MindManager Windows Styles Folder to the Mac Finder SideBar as there are more Map themes on the MM Windows version. Hope this helps but drop me an email if you need more info: colin@visualthinking.co.za

Thanks Colin - this is a workaround - hopefully Mindjet will fix this as I'd rather not have to have an additional Styles folder listed as a Favourite long term. It is a confirmed bug from 2+ versions ago - and verified by Mindjet support staff so not sure why this hasn't been resolved yet.

Hello. Interesting that the problem still exists and it HAS been replicated by mindjet Dev team but why is there still no fix after months and months?

Yes, seems like a bug still in version 10.6.113.
The roadmaps for MindManager are under NDA. That being said, I haven't seen one yet for MindManager for Mac.
